Santa Fe County Commissioners to Vote on Women’s Suffrage Month Proclamation

Santa Fe County Board of County Commission (BCC) will vote on proclaiming August as Women’s Suffrage Month and ask for recognition and honor of the 100thAnniversary of the 19th Amendment of the Constitution. Commissioner Anna Hansen will introduce the proclamation and be virtually joined by three guest speakers: Micaela Hester the Communications Manager for the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Meredith Machen of the League of Women Voters of New Mexico, and Pamelya Herndon the Coordinator of the 100th Anniversary Celebration.
The BCC meeting will be called to order at 2:00 p.m. and will progress through the agenda items in the order listed. Please read the agenda here.
