Gods encouraging word of the day

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it”

1 Corinthians 10:13

The devil tempts that he may deceive us, but God allows us to be tempted that he may try us.

Temptation is a trial of our sincerity and maturity that displays whether or not our heart is loyal to Christ.

The weak Christian will yield at Satan’s first temptation just like the weak child hands over his lunch money as soon as the bully approaches. The strong Christian brandishes the sword of the Spirit and would rather die than succumb to the temptation.

You must understand that we are warriors fighting on an unseen battlefield with our souls as the prize. Look to God and always pray.
