SCHEDULED TEE TIMES

This highly-anticipated, four person scramble, boasts a long history of tradition by generating revenue to offer recreational involvement for the youth of Santa Fe County at the Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course and Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC). Created by former City Councilor Peso Chavez and assistant, former City Councilor Molly Harris-Whitted, the idea of the annual Fore Kids Golf Tournament was established. For the past 22 years, this tournament has brought much needed recognition to the youth of our city; awarding 36,000+ scholarships and raising over $239,000+ in assistance.

TOURNAMENT AND COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

We appreciate your cooperation in following our new guidelines as we navigate through this challenging time.

Payment Method: Payment must be made in advance via credit card by Wednesday, Aug. 26th. Participants may call the pro shop at (955-4402) to complete the payment process. Due to Covid-19, payments will not be accepted the day of the tournament.

Tee Time Information: One designated golfer per team must call the pro shop 1-2 days before (Wednesday, Aug. 26th or Thursday, Aug. 27th) to get your team’s scheduled tee time. An e-blast will also be sent out the day before (Thursday, Aug. 27th) to inform all registered players of their team’s scheduled tee time. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your tee time and only tee off at your exact reserved tee time, no earlier.

Check-in/Day of Tournament: Golfers must check-in for their assigned tee time at the pro shop window; located to the right of the pro shop.

Scorecard Drop Off: Please turn in each players scorecard at the scoring area; located on the restaurant patio. We ask that all participants exit the patio area after turning in your scorecard to avoid any group gatherings.

New Golf Cart Policy: Golf carts are limited to one rider only. Shared carts are allowed if you live in the same household. Players must clean out their own golf carts when returning to the cart barn area.

Lunch/Award Ceremony: Hamburgers & bratwursts will be provided on the patio, along with chile cheese dogs on “Peso’s Corner.” Players can pick up their lunch while making the turn from hole 9 to hole 10 or after play. In lieu of an awards ceremony and luncheon, winners will be announced via video and shared on The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Facebook page. Gift certificates to the pro shop will be issued to all winners and those prizes will be made available the following week at the pro shop.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

-FACE MASKS REQUIRED PER THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO; EVEN DURING EXERCISE.

-Please maintain the social distancing guidelines of 6’ from staff and other players in your group; including group interactions in the parking lot
