Gods encouraging word of the day

“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”

James 2:14-26

When we are saved by faith in Christ, we should feel compelled by Jesus sacrificial gift of love to give to others as well.

After all, the Bible says that faith without works is dead. Meaning that our actions in this life should represent the faith that we have. What good is it to ask God to bless someone if were unwilling to allow God to use us to bless them.  What good does it do to pray for health and family if we do not lean on God ready to accept the changes he presents us with

By letting his light shine through us we give glory to God. Only by allowing God to do the work trusting in his power not our own, will we truly life a life of fulfillment!

God bless You
