From Gallup to Carlsbad, Las Cruces to Raton and everywhere in between, ​the census impacts all communities across New Mexico​. The census determines how more than $800 billion in federal funds are distributed to local communities for schools, roads and other public services.

Additionally, dozens of federal environmental grants are awarded based on census data. You can help ensure our precious wildlife and natural resources are protected through clean air, water and habitat by filling out the 2020 Census.

Get counted online, over the phone at 844-330-2020 or by mailing in your packet. The deadline to complete the census is Sept. 30, 2020. The census is quick and easy and takes about 10 minutes.
