God‘s Encouraging Word of the day

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

If you’re like me, control can be an issue in your life. I feel the need to always be in control even when I know what I’m doing is harmful.

The best days of my life are the days I surrender control to God. These are the days I can rest.

At some point along our short journey called life we all get tired of carrying around our daily plans, worry’s, troubles and fears.

As humans we were not made to do this alone and It’s such a blessing to know that we don’t have to.  Gods in control. God has the power to give us rest from our burdens and God wants us to ask for His help.

Trusting God to do the heavy lifting can be hard. It definitely takes prayer and practice, but it’s all worth it. In the end we can be still. At peace knowing God has taken over, HE is in control and we can finally rest.
