“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.”

Psalm 107:29

One thing I think all of us can agree on is that we’ve experienced a lot of change over the past year, to say the least. We’ve been rocked and rolled in constant storms and some of us may have even experienced times when we thought we weren’t going to make it. (Though, I’m glad you did). After this year, I can certainly say my perspective has changed a lot, but for the better. Perhaps you view some things differently, as well.

I hope at least once this year you got to have God speak to the storm in your defense. Stilling it to a whisper, hushing the waves, and bringing you calmly into the harbor. The verse above is a beautiful image that represents the perfect outcome for anyone navigating through a storm.
