DVS to Host Virtual Presidents Day Veterans Benefits & Assistance Zoom Outreach

The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) will host a special Presidents Day Zoom Outreach on Monday, February 15, from 9am-noon.

Veterans can connect via the video application “Zoom” with the following DVS veterans service officers below…for “virtual” face-to-face assistance with filing VA claims or state veterans benefits, providing guidance with regard to registration for COVID-19 vaccination, or for help with any other issues a veteran or their family may be facing.

“Veterans should not ignore their VA or state benefits needs during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said DVS Secretary-Designate Sonya L. Smith. “ Veterans Service Officers can help you with filing processes for state and federal benefits, which can be complicated. We can answer questions about the state’s COVID-19 vaccine enrollment program. And if you need help with any other issues, you don’t have to face any crisis alone–we are here for you.”
