SFCC Summer registration for New Mexico residents begins April 13

Santa Fe Community College opens online registration to all New Mexico residents at 8 a.m. April 13 for summer classes. Summer classes begin June 7. New students should visit https://www.sfcc.edu/get-started/apply-and-register/.  Returning students can visit https://www.sfcc.edu/look-for-a-credit-class/ to find classes and registration guidance. The campus remains closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, so registration is online.

Summer is a great time to get a head start on the fall semester. The summer session offers eight- and four-week classes.

Ready to consider a new career? Certificates prepare students for entry-level work and/or supplement their skills for job advancement opportunities. Students can often earn a certificate in one year or less. Degree programs prepare students for a career and/or transfer to a bachelor’s degree program.

Do you have an interest in healthy eating? SFCC offers a Certificate in Nutrition with classes this summer. The certificate program is designed to broaden the knowledge base of individuals interested in nutrition or for those who work in food, nutrition or health-related areas.

Love cars? This summer you can take an introduction to Automotive Technologies. The college offers seven certificates and an A.A.S. degree in Automotive Technology. Want to become a teacher? SFCC’s Teacher Education program offers a full range of online classes this summer in Early Childhood Education and Education Foundations classes. Feeling creative? Consider taking a visual arts, creative writing, digital media arts or film class this summer.

SFCC now offers expanded student resources, access to financial aid, technology assistance and mental health resources. Students and prospective students can reach the Office of Financial Aid via email at financialaid@sfcc.edu or by calling 505-428-1268. There are many scholarships available to SFCC students. SFCC veterans and veterans’ dependents are encouraged to apply for the City of Santa Fe/SFCC Foundation Veterans Scholarship for veterans who are not eligible for other veterans’ benefits.
