By Santa Fe County

With June upon us, we are getting ready for summer, warmer temperatures, and the bustling sounds of tourist season. Tourism in Santa Fe County is expected to increase over last year, and anyone working downtown in our award-winning Catron and Grant buildings can see the number of visitors and out-of-state license plates already here. Whether it’s an eye-opening experience from a tourist on summer vacation or a staycation for a local, Santa Fe County has so much to offer, from highly ranked accommodations to awe-inspiring hikes, there is something for everyone. Also on the rise are daily temps – in June the average temperature in Santa Fe is 83° and days of sun average 28. This reminds us of the work being done by our Sustainability Division to make Santa Fe County solar sustainable in the near future. One additional call for celebration, we are working on increasing hours of operation to the public at many of our facilities. Happy Summer Solstice from Santa Fe County.
