OLD GLORY

If there was one thing that I appreciated, it was each and every one of the 120 countries showing their respect for the all the flags they carried into the vast Tokyo Stadium to top off the opening ceremonies of the 132nd Summer Olympics.
The flags were small or large and every one were in the colors of each respective nation. The athletes were all smiles, all happy to wave their flags as they marched in, waving their colors to the few allowed in the stands, to the nearby host women dancers who were cheering them on, and it was a pretty sight to see each and every land small or large applying flag etiquette.
From 2-3 athlete countries to the larger ones of the United States, Great Britain, China and host Japan, there was joy in every flag holder, and all of the large flag holders that fronted each nation
