Seasonal Positions Available on the Santa Fe National Forest

Interested in a seasonal position on the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) in spring 2022? The Forest Service will be accepting applications on USA Jobs starting on Nov. 5 and closing on Nov. 12.

The SFNF will be hiring seasonal employees to work in the following management areas in the upcoming application period:

 

Wildland Fire	Recreation	Plants/Wildlife
Timber	Archaeology	Natural Resources

 

Seasonal employees are an essential part of the Forest Service workforce. Many permanent Forest Service employees began their careers as seasonal employees. Applying for a seasonal position on the SFNF is a great way to gain valuable work experience, apply your education to a practical work environment and try out different career fields.

All Forest Service seasonal positions will be open to the public, and anyone interested can apply atUSA Jobs. Generally, each forest will make selections in January 2022. Seasonal employees generally work from spring through September.
