March just may be the lucky month we have been waiting for. Not only because of St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th, but because we are seeing a consistent drop in COVID cases around the state and county. As of the first of the month, the state test positivity rate is 7.3%, down from the 30+% we experienced during our peak in January. And luckily, we are starting to see things slowly go back to some semblance of normal, but we need to continue using the tools we have to combat the pandemic we have all been dealing with for more than two years. As the manager, I consider myself lucky to work with such a great staff.
