We have so much to be thankful for!
Since we opened our Museum in 2002, we have hosted on average two major exhibitions per year to the enjoyment of tens of thousands of visitors from around the world. Our collection has nearly doubled in size with objects as old as 500 years and as new as this year’s Spanish Market Preview Night “Best in Show.” Objects in our collection are of such broad scope that they are unsurpassed for studies of historical, comparative, and contemporary themes; and they are complemented by our library of nearly 4,000 volumes and archive of the history of the Spanish Colonial Arts Society and its historical and contemporary influences. All of this is housed in a most magnificent building: the John Gaw Meem Director’s Residence, the only Meem residence open to the public in Santa Fe situated on over two acres of historic grounds, the site on the hill where the Santa Fe Trail once led to town—a Class I archeological easement commemorated by the National Park Service. Thank you to all of our members and supporters for making this possible!
