The Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa
Fe/Del Norte is pleased to announce that Sarah Gettler has been appointed Executive Director
effective November 14, 2022. Sarah has been with the Boys and Girls Club since 2011 and has
served in various roles. Most recently she served as the Assistant Executive Director of the
Club. In 2021, Sarah was named Southwest Professional of The Year by The Boys and Girls
Clubs of America.
“The Board of Directors is excited to name the first female Executive Director of The Boys and
Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del Norte. The Club has been serving families and youth in and around
the Santa Fe Community and Northern New Mexico for over 80 years. Sarah has been very
involved in the organization’s recent growth including the opening of a Teen Center in the Santa
Fe Place Mall and a new Club site in Las Vegas. We are excited to see how the Clubs will
continue to thrive under her leadership.” – Phil Warfield, Club Board President
“As a working mother of two my husband and I were grateful to have the Boys and Girls Club to
provide our children with a safe place to go after school. When I began working at the Clubs it
quickly became a passion of mine to ensure more families knew about, and had access to, the
services the Clubs provide. I am excited to take on this leadership position where I can continue
to help create safe spaces for our youth to access opportunities and become future leaders in
