Even with the holidays upon us, we are sure that you are already thinking about the 2023-2024 hunts!

As of today, you have exactly 91 days to plan, read draw odds reports, scheme on the best way to draw and get your applications in. Here is what you need to know to start planning your hunts.

Rules and Information Booklet

Information about rules, seasons, fees and more is available in the 2023-2024 Hunting Rules & Information booklet online now in English and Spanish. Hunters are encouraged to review season dates, application deadlines and other information before applying for licenses or going afield.

Important dates:

Applications open online: Jan. 18.

Application deadline for bear and turkey permits: 5 p.m. Feb. 15.

Deadline to file your harvest report without a late fee: 11:59 p.m. Feb. 15.

Deadline to apply and be eligible for incentives: 5 p.m. March 15.

Application deadline for big-game licenses: 5 p.m. March 22.

Folleto de reglas e información

Información sobre las reglas, temporadas, tarifas y más está disponible en el Folleto de reglas e información de cacería de 2023-2024, que está en línea ahora en inglés y español. Se alienta a los cazadores que revisan las fechas de las temporadas, las fechas límites de las solicitudes y otra información antes de solicitar las licencias o salir al campo.

Fechas importantes:

Las solicitudes abren en línea el 18 de enero.

La fecha límite para solicitar permisos para oso y pavo es a las 5 p.m. el 15 de febrero.

La fecha límite para presentar informes de cosecha sin tarifas por pago atrasado es a las 11:59 p.m. el 15 de febrero.

La fecha límite para postularse y ser elegible para los incentivos es a las 5 p.m. el 15 de marzo.

La fecha límite para la solicitud de licencias de caza mayor es a las 5 p.m. el 22 de marzo.
