Liz Camacho joined Santa Fe’s Office of Economic Development in 2018 where she leads efforts on workforce development, job creation, placemaking, asset management, and communication. She has used her knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research for community engagement. Her close relationships with local educational, business, and immigrant communities have helped develop a vision of collaborative strategies and solutions for City of Santa Fe residents. She is a proud board member of the Hispanic Chamber
and Tierra Contenta Corporation. Prior to her life as a public servant, she worked as a brand and communication strategist. Helping connect brands to culture through a variety of projects for brands as diverse as Nissan, Absolut, Dove Chocolate, Nivea, and Emergen-C in places like Europe, Russia, the US, and Latin America. She has been awarded five “Effies” for effective marketing strategies in the following industries: weight loss, spirits,
confectionary, automotive and beauty.
