Santa Fe High’s girls basketball team got past Albuquerque Valley

By Arnie Leshin
Santa Fe High’s girls basketball team had their losing streak end at six following Friday’s 52-41 victory over Albuquerque Valley.
The result put the Demonettes’ overall record at 4-10, while Valley dropped to 7-8 overall, but no box score attached to this game.

In the Albuquerque Sandia Prep tournament Friday, Roberson’s “Transfer Portal” rolled past St. Michael’s, 63-33, but here, too, no box score as the Lady Horsemen fell to 9-5 and the Cardinals improved to 10-1.

The next game for St. Michael’s is Tuesday night in a non-district meeting against visiting Santa Fe High.
