Some have already qualified for the 68-team NCAA Division I basketball field, others are still hanging around in their respective conference quarterfinals.
The women have gotten Southeast Louisiana in by winning its Southland championship over Lamar, 66-57, and also East Carolina as it won the American Athletic via a 46-44 squeaker over Houston.
There’s the title games of the Patriot League matching Boston University with Holy Cross, and the Northeast Conference sending Fairleigh Dickinson against Sacred Heart.
The rest are all quarterfinals.
As for the men, not many has made it to March Madness tournament time except for those qualifying out of their respective conference title. All the other current games are in the quarters.
