NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS

By Arnie Leshin
In the Eastern Conference final of the National Basketball Association, the word is that no way will the 8th-seeded Miami Heat defeat the Boston Celtics.

No response from Miami’s Erik Spoelstra, probably the league’s best coach, but those that got the word out probably forget that his team already eliminated No.1-seeded Milwaukee Bucks and No. 5 New York Knicks.

Two things, Spoelstra of course executed the five-game success over Milwaukee, had his team very confidence as it appeared, and the Heat gave the Knicks problems all season.

So it cashed in, and now let’s see. Miami has been a good road team, but 2nd-seeded Boston is fired-up after shellacking the 3rd-seeded Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7.

Catch it, game 1 in Boston on Wednesday (St. Patrick’s Day in Boston, oh my).
