God’s Encouraging Word of the day

“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.”

Paalm 39:7

With things of this earth surrounding us it is very easy to put hope in ourselves, others or possessions. We might be worried about our situations or circumstance, all while trying to fix it on our own.  This mentality cannot sustain us.

Only by putting our faith and hope in Christ Jesus can we be truly happy content and at peace

My hope is in You: “This means a life, in which desire and expectation are centered in God.

Such life is of an entirely different quality from that in which desire and expectation are centered in self, in circumstances, or in men.
