ALBUQUERQUE ISOTOPES IN PACKIFIC COAST BASEABALL LEAGUE

By Arnie Leshin
Last in the first half of the Triple A Pacific Coast Baseball League, the Albuquerque Isotopes have moved to the top of the Western Division via their fourth win in five starts of the second half Sunday afternoon

It was the third straight triumph over visiting El Paso, 4-0, behind a distance go from right hander Jeff Griswell, who allowed eight scattered hits, struck out five and walked two. It put the Topes on top the division at 4-1 with Las Vegas.

Albuquerque had some hot hitters in high temperatures as Aaron Schrunk clouted a 2-run home run and Jonahan Morales hit for the cycle.
