By Arnie Leshin
The Albuquerque Isotopes have been taking a roller-coaster ride in the Triple A Pacific Coast Baseball League.

A minor league team of the Major League Colorado Rockies, Albuquerque had spent the early part of the season in last place in the 10-team league.

But in the second half of the campaign it jumped all the way to the top of the standings, once on top by two games, and then landing in a three-way tie with two other teams.

Presently, it is at 19-19 and in sixth place. It has lost back-to-back road games, 2-1 and 10-7 to Round Rock. It plays again at Round Rock in a 5 p.m. starting time today.

Currently, Las Vegas, Oklahoma and Tacoma share first place two games ahead of Round Rock.
