Rules and Information Booklet is available online now

The 2024-2025 Hunting Rules and Information Booklet is now available for download! This year, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish has combined the Hunting, Furbearers, Upland Game and Migratory Bird rules and information into one publication. Printed versions of this year’s booklet will be available soon at license vendors and Department offices in both English and Spanish. The Spanish-language edition will be available for download in late January or early February.

Important Dates:

• January 17 at 10 a.m. – the Department will begin accepting online applications

• February 14 at 5 p.m. – the application deadline for bear and turkey permits

• March 20 at 5 p.m. – the application deadline for big-game licenses

• Hunters need to file all mandatory harvest reports from last season’s hunts to be eligible for the 2024-2025 draw.
