SFC Roar October 2024

As we approach the end of our First Quarter, I want to commend our students for their hard work. Adjusting to school – and for some of them, a new school – can be challenging. However, our students are more than capable, and I am pleased with the academic and spiritual growth we are seeing.

October is a bit of a busy month. In addition to the end of quarter and Parent/Teacher Conferences, we had our first Field Trip and Picture Day!
We are also excited to once again have our annual Grandparents’ Day later this month. All grandparents will be invited to attend a special afternoon with snacks and games.

Did you know that October is Pastor Appreciation Month? Every year this month sneaks up and proves to be one of the hardest posts to write. Not because there’s nothing to say but rather SO MUCH gratitude that it seems impossible to put it all into one solitary blurb.

The support from the following churches and their Pastors will always be a humbling and profound reminder of what God is doing.

Pastors- your involment and support truly means more than we can physically articulate. It has strengthened the structure of SFC and the entire Christian community here in Santa Fe and beyond. To have different denominations and styles without segregation—spurring each other on, sprinting alongside, and even pulling each other up at times—is a true representation of Christian brotherhood.
Thank you, not only for your support but also for modeling how to be Christ-like men, fathers, husbands, and leaders.

  • For our SFC staff – that God will guide and sustain them during the school year as they teach and minister to the students;
  • For a new location and/or additional space to house our growing school in the future; and
  • For our SFC School Board and the decisions they make for our school.
