SFC Roar November 2024

I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.”

Psalm 34:4-5

The words “I sought the Lord…” from the verse above are fundamental to direction and growth! The word sought is defined as to inquire for or to ask for.
The SFC body continues to inquire and ask for Him as we move through this school year, prepare for the next and the decades that lie ahead!

“…and He answered me…” are the very powerful follow-up words after the first phrase in this month’s verse. He will always answer. “Yes,  “no”, “not  yet”, “something else”—whether the answer it is desired or not, He will answer.
“Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” Being ashamed is typically defined as being embarrassed or guilty, but it is also defined as being reluctant to do something through fear.

Praise Jesus that we are able to speak to our Father and be answered in return, to be able to look toward Him and move forward with radiance and courage!

We have closed on an incredible first quarter where we have seen spiritual and academic growth among our students! We have also gained another University Partnership!

Why do we have University Partnerships? We believe The Lord will continue to grow SFC through 12th grade. (Because that’s what He called us to do!) In an effort to prepare for our first SFC graduates, we have begun to establish partnerships with the best Christian universities in the country.

With that, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Abilene Christian University! ACU has been recognized as a top Texas university by U.S. News and World Report, and its mission is to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. Keep scrolling to find out more information about our partnership with ACU!

A huge thanks to our University Recruitment Partner Dr. Rainwater for facilitating this partnership, with another partnership to come this month!

Stay tuned to see how He is going before us!
I can’t believe it, but we are already in November, and the holidays are right around the corner. We only have 52 days until Christmas for those keeping track!

We are excited for our upcoming Thanksgiving Lunch this month! The students are busy preparing for our annual Christmas Concert in Decemer.

I am thankful to all the grandparents who participated in Grandparents Day. We had a wonderful time together and it is always a joy to meet the new members of our SFC family.

Until next time, Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to you and your family!

For His Glory,

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6

Please continue to pray:

  • For our SFC families – that they will be healthy and blessed, and that the students will excel spiritually and academically during the school year;
  • For our SFC staff – that God will guide and sustain them during the school year as they teach and minister to the students;
  • For a new location and/or additional space to house our growing school in the future; and
  • For our SFC School Board and the decisions they make for our school
