URGENT: Immediate Action Needed!

Several bills have been scheduled for MONDAY, February 24, and we need your voice!

Two detrimental bills have made their way to the House Floor for a final vote and we need legislators to know how much we disapprove of these proposed laws.

In addition, our Education Freedom Account Act, a bill that will provide educational freedom to New Mexico families, has been rescheduled for the Senate Education Committee.

HB11 – Paid Family Medical Leave

We have been actively opposing HB 11, as it presents significant concerns for businesses and families alike. Despite our efforts, the bill advanced yesterday and is now heading to the house floor.

If passed, this legislation could impose heavy mandates, affecting employers and employees across the state. We remain committed to advocating against this bill and urge you to make your voice heard by following the Act Now button.

HB27 – Librarian Protection Act

This is a dangerous overreach that removes local control, undermines parental authority, and forces taxpayers to fund controversial materials in public libraries. By tying library policies to the American Library Association’s (ALA) agenda, this bill prioritizes progressive ideology while failing to protect conservative and faith-based content. It strips communities of their right to determine what is appropriate for public spaces, leaving parents with no say in what their children are exposed to.

SB 286, The Education Freedom Account Act, puts parents—not the government—in charge of their children’s education by allowing funding to follow the student. This bill creates Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs), giving families financial resources to choose private schools, tutoring, or other educational options that best fit their child’s needs
