Road construction will begin on Forest Road 83 in the
Pecos/Las Vegas Ranger District from May 5 to May 23, 2025. During this period, the road will
be closed to allow construction crews to install a large culvert at the Sebadilla Creek crossing.
The closure will start at mile marker 13.7, but private landowners will still have access to the
area.
For more information about this closure, please visit the Santa Fe National Forest Alerts page or
contact the Pecos/Las Vegas District Office at (505) 757-6121.
