Last Chance! Member/Guest Event Deadline Approaching at NMSU

Just a quick reminder — time is running out to register for ourMember/Guest Event at New Mexico State University Golf Course!

 

Registration closes in just a couple of days, and the event itself is only one week away. Don’t miss your chance to join us for a fantastic day of golf, camaraderie, and fun.

 

Event Date: May 17th-18th., 2025
Registration Deadline: May 12th, 2025

 

Eligibility & Pairing:

– One player must be a current NMSU Golf Club member

– The guest cannot be an NMSU Golf Club member

– Partners must have handicaps within 8 strokes of each other

 

Entry Fee:

$200 per player – includes two days of green fees, Saturday lunch, tee prize, and grab-and-go snacks

$100 per player for NMSU Golf Passholders

 

Format & Schedule:

This year’s event features 24 two-person teams competing in aMatch Play format, flighted by team handicap (max 6 teams per flight).

 

Saturday (Day 1): 27 holes / 3 matches. First tee time: 8:00 AM

Morning: 18 holes (2 matches), lunch break, then 9 holes (1 match) in the afternoon

 

Sunday (Day 2): 18 holes / 2 matches. First tee time: 8:00 AM

 

Scoring System (Per Hole):

Win = 2 points

Tie = 1 point

Loss = 0 points

Flight champions will be determined by total points. In the case of a tie, a playoff will decide the winner.
