President Trump SIGNS FPA-Backed Take It Down Act!

Bipartisan Victory Protects Children from Exploitation in the Digital Age

In a landmark moment for child safety and online accountability, President Donald J. Trump has officially signed the Take It Down Act into law—marking the first Family Policy Alliance (FPA)-backed bill of his second term. The bill, celebrated at a public signing ceremony at the White House, represents a sweeping bipartisan victory in the fight to protect children and families from digital exploitation.

The Take It Down Act directly confronts the growing threats of non-consensual pornography, AI-generated deepfakes, and the increasingly alarming trend of “sextortion.” These crimes often target young people who are manipulated into sending explicit images and then blackmailed through threats of public exposure or violence.

According to the FBI, these cases are not just frequent—they are devastating:

“The shame, fear, and confusion children feel when they are caught in this cycle often prevents them from asking for help or reporting the abuse.”

The new law equips law enforcement and online platforms with stronger tools to remove explicit content, prosecute predators, and protect vulnerable individuals from ongoing harm. It also strengthens online accountability by requiring platforms to act swiftly when abusive images are reported—whether they’re real or artificially generated.

A United Front for Families

The Take It Down Act passed unanimously in the U.S. Senate and cleared the House with overwhelming support. It stands as proof that, even in divided times, the wellbeing of children can still unite leaders across the political spectrum.

First Lady Melania Trump has been a vocal advocate for the bill from its earliest stages, championing the importance of protecting children in an increasingly dangerous digital world.

At the White House for the signing were several key FPA leaders, including Government Affairs Director Dylan Jeremiah, President & CEO Craig DeRoche, and Board Member Timothy Goeglein—each of whom played vital roles in pushing this legislation forward.

Your Support Made This Possible

“This is what your support creates,” said Craig DeRoche. “When families speak up, lawmakers listen—and kids win.”

The Take It Down Act is more than a policy win—it’s a signal of what’s possible when pro-family voices stay engaged, united, and committed to action. From the halls of Congress to the Oval Office, your support has helped make America safer for our children.

Thank you for standing with us. Together, we’re building a culture that protects innocence, honors dignity, and holds predators accountable.
