This week, we want to share an incredible pro-life victory that underscores what is possible when truth prevails—and how the Church can remain a bold voice in the public square.
The Biden administration’s unlawful reinterpretation of Section 1557 (a nondiscrimination provision in by the Affordable Care Act) attempted to force medical professionals and institutions to perform abortions and gender transition procedures—regardless of their convictions or religious beliefs.
But in a powerful reversal, President Trump’s administration has now rescinded that reinterpretation and restored critical conscience protections for faith-based hospitals, doctors, and clinics.
This is a huge win—not just for medical freedom or religious liberty, but for the dignity of life and the ability of Christian doctors and institutions to operate according to biblical convictions. Let this serve as a reminder: your voice matters. The church’s presence in the public arena matters. When we stand, truth can still prevail.
Why the Church Should Care About Industry & Infrastructure
We’re also sharing an important message from Rep. Rod Montoya, who offers insight into another battle we witnessed this legislative session: coordinated attacks on New Mexico’s oil and gas industry.
