Philanthropic support for the Spanish Colonial Arts Society began in 1925 in response to the call from our founders who formed it partly out of concern that centuries-old expressions of Hispano heritage could disappear in changing times. This early support, and the support that followed across generations has been vital to sustaining this 100-year-old organization. As we face our own era of change, we strive to honor our founders’ foresight and the work of all SCAS | NMHA supporters and friends.
