Stirring Up Stars in the Kitchen
We’re feeling a little “Googley” these days — and with good reason! Thanks to guest reviews on platforms like Google and TripAdvisor, we get a front-row seat to what’s working, what can improve, and what keeps folks coming back to the Santa Fe School of Cooking.
Do we love perfect 5-star ratings? Sure. But with a 4.7-star Google average and a 4.8 rating on TripAdvisor, we’re proud — and even prouder to share those compliments with the hard-working chefs and staff who earn every one of those stars.
Whether it’s a hands-on cooking class, a demonstration, a walking food tour, or a visit to our market, we love knowing that what we do helps deepen appreciation for New Mexico’s incredible food and culture.
Learn Something New With Us
Never taken a cooking class before? Perfect. You’re exactly who we want to meet. First-time students ask the best questions — and often, the very ones that others were too shy to ask.
Our demonstration classes are a great starting point. They offer a deeper understanding of the why behind ingredients, recipes, and techniques. These classes also accommodate more guests, so the energy stays high and the questions keep coming.
We offer a wide range of demo classes — from Traditional New Mexican dishes to Contemporary Southwest, Southwest Brunch, Tapas, and even special sessions on Native American foods. No two months are ever the same!

Don’t Forget the Market
Our Santa Fe School of Cooking Market is a hidden gem. Many of the ingredients, tools, and techniques you’ll discover in class are available to take home — and a lot of it is featured in our Santa Fe School of Cooking cookbooks.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or just need a refresher, our market is a great place to explore, shop, and get inspired all over again.
Come See Why the Stars Keep Coming
We’re thankful for every kind word shared on review platforms — and for every guest who’s taken a class, joined a tour, or browsed our market. We do this because we love sharing the flavors of the Southwest and the stories behind them.
Whether you’re a foodie, a tourist, or a curious first-timer — you’re invited. Come taste, learn, laugh, and cook with us.
