The outpouring of support for the talented student-musicians who make up Mariachi Orgullo has been tremendous!

Thanks to you, through the Mariachi Orgullo crowdfunding campaign, we are $7,675 away from our goal of $13,675 for the purchase of traditional instruments — including a vihuela and a guitarra de golpe — and full uniforms, called trajes, that cost more than $1,300.

There’s still time to give and help these student-musicians defray the costs of performance so that they can do what they do best: celebrate the culture of our region by bringing the traditional music of the Borderland to NMSU, Las Cruces, and beyond.
