Two More Hostage Bodies to be Handed Over by Hamas

After returning the body of a hostage last night,Hamas has notified Israeli officials that it will be handing over two more hostages who were killed in captivity. Ynet reports that the handover will take place tonight by 9 p.m. The hostage who was returned the previous night has been identified as Tal Haimi of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his social media platform that several American allies in the Middle East have told him they would welcome the opportunity to enter Gaza with significant military force if Hamas continues to violate its understandings with Washington. Trump said he told those countries, as well as Israel, that “it’s not yet time,” expressing hope that Hamas would still “do the right thing.”

He warned, however, that if Hamas fails to change its behavior, its end would be “fast, furious, and brutal.” Trump also thanked the nations that offered assistance, singling out Indonesia and its leader for their support of both the Middle East and the United States.

At the same time, United States Vice President J.D. Vance as well as Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and White House adviser Jared Kushner are in Israel to ensure that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas holds after a shaky weekend. The Fellowship prays that it does, and that people of Israel who were taken and murdered are all returned home so that the war can officially end.
