Defense Ministry Director General Amir Baram said that the newest system “represents only the beginning of a technological revolution,” noting it is expected to “significantly improve both Israel’s defensive capabilities and the cost balance between interception and threat.”
“We remain committed to advancing the world’s most cutting-edge developments to operational deployment, further strengthening Israel’s qualitative edge and technological superiority,” said Brig. Gen. (res.) Daniel Gold, head of the ministry’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development.
The IAF is also about to receive a boost after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Trump’s meeting reaffirming the countries’ ties and commitment to peace and security in the region. The Pentagon has announced a Boeing contract for F-15 fighters, which are Israel’s most-used and trusted fighter jet against terror groups like Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Iran.
Israeli weapons are developed not for destruction, but to protect and defend the people of Israel. The IAF helps ensure that many Israelis can go about their daily lives with greater peace of mind, rather than living in constant fear. This is the same safety and security that The Fellowship and our supporters pray for and work toward every day
