The 2026 NM Legislative Session Begins Next Week

The 2026 New Mexico Legislative Session will begin next Tuesday, and we are preparing to bring you timely, reliable information on what is happening in Santa Fe. This year’s session is a shorter, 30-day session, and while it is primarily focused on the state budget and fiscal bills, we know how much can be hidden under the guise of other issues.

During the session, our focus will be on education, family healthcare, and fiscal responsibility, the areas where policy and funding decisions most directly affect families and children. Every bill we monitor is weighed against one guiding question: does it strengthen families and honor parents’ God-given role and responsibility?
