Ice Arena Closed for Repairs

The ice arena at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center has experienced a forced closure due to mechanical issues.

Repairs are under way, but all programming, skating and private rentals are canceled this weekend.

Re-opening will be reevaluated on Monday, February 9, 2026 once contractors assess and determine if further repairs are needed. Updates will be posted on the City’s Website as they become available.
