As Memorial Day weekend approaches, we want to share an urgent message with New Mexico taxpayers: now is the time to stand together and oppose the proposed taxpayer-funded $10 million abortion facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
This week, the Southwest Coalition for Life reported that at least eight New Mexico-based contractors have been identified as participants in this highly controversial project. Already, three contractors have reportedly stepped away from involvement. Pro-life organizations across the state are now uniting in the effort to Stop the Clinic and are encouraging concerned citizens to contact these businesses directly to respectfully voice their concerns.

From the beginning, New Mexico Alliance for Life has continued exposing what we believe is a shocking misuse of taxpayer dollars by the New Mexico Legislature. Through investigative reporting and public outreach, we have warned voters nationwide about the abortion lobby’s broader expansion efforts—efforts that we believe are being advanced through the rebranded “full-spectrum reproductive clinic” model designed to soften public perception and broaden support. As we honor Memorial Day, we also pause to remember and give thanks for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the value and dignity of every human life and the courage it takes to stand for what we believe is right. May we honor their legacy by continuing to advocate for the protection of innocent life in our own generation.
