Yesterday afternoon, at least four people were reportedly injured in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack near Moshav Beit Hillel in northern Israel. The Jerusalem Post reportedthat the terror group had launched a barrage of missiles at Nahariya the previous day, with Army Radio releasing footage showing missiles landing in the ocean as beachgoers ran for cover.
Fire crews were working at the crash site, where Israeli media is reporting that at least four people were injured. No details on their conditions have been reported.
The drone hit a military zone, and the IDF is investigating the event, according to Army Radio.
An additional crash was reported on the Tel Dan natural reserve, with firefighter teams working to extinguish a fire that broke out.
“We acted with determination and, by quickly combining forces with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and the firefighters, we managed to stop the fire front and gain control of the fire before it spread deeper into the reserve,” said commander for the fire in the Dan Reserve, Lahav Amal Tahish.
The IDF announced today that Staff Sergeant Adam Tzarfati, 20, was killed in yesterday’s drone attack. Another soldier was severely wounded, and two others sustained light injuries. The IDF also announced that Staff Sergeant Michael Tyukin, 21, was killed in an drone attack on Saturday.
Friday and Saturday saw a significant escalation in hostilities, with the city of Karmiel being targeted—the furthest inland strike since the ceasefire took effect. Kiryat Shmona’s city center was also hit and damaged overnight on Saturday, with as many as 15 missiles fired by the terror group during that 24-hour period.
No changes have been made to Home Front Command guidelines, though the IDF continues to advise caution for residents of northern communities amid ongoing operations in Lebanon.
The Fellowship and its supporters pray for the families of Adam Tzarfati and Michael Tyukin. Tyukin made aliyah from Ukraine with his mother and was her only child. We join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in saluting these heroic fighters.
