As we celebrate Independence Day, we’re reminded that freedom comes in many forms—including the freedom literacy makes possible.
This past fiscal year, Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe made a powerful impact:
• 358 students served
• 148 volunteer tutors
• 706 student goals achieved
These numbers represent lives changed.
Literacy helps parents support their children, empowers workers to pursue better jobs, and gives individuals the confidence to advocate for themselves and their families.
Behind every statistic is a story of courage, growth, and determination.
Your support makes this life-changing work possible.
This Independence Day, please help us continue opening doors, creating opportunities, and changing lives through literacy.
SPARK A LIFE.
VOLUNTEER.
Make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by becoming a volunteer tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe.
Our 12-hour tutor training prepares volunteers to work with adult learners in Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL). No teaching experience or second language is required—just a desire to help others succeed.
