This past fiscal year, Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe made a powerful impact:

• 148 volunteer tutors

• 706 student goals achieved

These numbers represent lives changed.

Literacy helps parents support their children, empowers workers to pursue better jobs, and gives individuals the confidence to advocate for themselves and their families.

Make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by becoming a volunteer tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe.

Our 12-hour tutor training prepares volunteers to work with adult learners in Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL). No teaching experience or second language is required—just a desire to help others succeed.

In-Person Training at SFCC

Friday & Saturday, September 18–19

9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Training also includes a registration meeting and a 2-hour follow-up workshop.
