Somos Un Pueblo Unido invites community members and members of the media to attend a summer fundraiser and community resource fair on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Adelita’s Restaurant in Santa Fe.
From 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Adelita’s Restaurant will donate 20% of all food and drink sales to support Somos Un Pueblo Unido’s work with immigrant and working-class communities across New Mexico.
The event will also feature a mercado and resource fair from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., bringing together local organizations, community resources, information tables, and vendors.
Members of the press are invited to attend and cover the gathering. Representatives from Somos Un Pueblo Unido, participating organizations, vendors, and community members will be available for interviews.

Visual opportunities will include the mini mercado, community information and resource tables, participating vendors, families gathering at the restaurant, and community members supporting Somos Un Pueblo Unido through food and drink purchases.

Background:
Somos Un Pueblo Unido organizes with immigrant and working-class communities throughout New Mexico to advance worker and racial justice. Its work includes community organizing, leadership development, advocacy, civic engagement, workers’ rights education, and support for immigrant families.
This summer fundraiser offers community members an opportunity to enjoy a meal while directly supporting Somos Un Pueblo Unido’s organizing efforts. The accompanying mini mercado and resource fair will connect families with local organizations, services, information, and community-based resources in a welcoming and accessible setting.
