Family Policy Alliance of New Mexico Congratulates Craig DeRoche

Family Policy Alliance of New Mexico® is blessed to be one of more than 40 vibrant, state-based family policy councils across America, and today, we want to congratulate our national alliance team, Family Policy Alliance, on the hiring of their new CEO, Craig DeRoche.

Craig is the former Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives and most recently served as president of Justice Fellowship at Prison Fellowship (founded by Chuck Colson). Craig hails from Michigan and is widely regarded as a leading voice in American faith-based public policy. His nearly 30 years of experience advancing family values, religious freedom, and the dignity of all human life will certainly be an asset to our alliance, and we wish Craig all the best in this new endeavor.

Since we launched Family Policy Alliance of New Mexico in 2017, the team at Family Policy Alliance in Colorado Springs has provided vital assistance and resources, including model legislation, policy analysis, and back office support to help us advance our mission locally in our state. We have also participated in their Foundation’s annual Statesmen Academy, the nation’s premier training ground for on-the-rise Christian legislators and aspiring policymakers. To date, five New Mexico leaders have graduated from the Academy, including State Representative, and soon to be State Senator, David Gallegos; House Minority Whip, State Representative Rod Montoya; and House Minority Caucus Chair, State Representative Rebecca Dow.

At Family Policy Alliance of New Mexico, our vision is a state and nation where religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and live is cherished.
