District 4 Planting in celebration of Earth Day 2021

Please join me this Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Hondo Regional Fire Station II to celebrate Earth Day 2021.

I will be on-site May 1st to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the district and Santa Fe County from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The District 4 planting will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. We will line the building and grounds with plants and trees to add new elements and textures to the landscape.

We will ensure COVID-safe practices and comply with Governor’s Orders for gatherings by prescheduling volunteers to specifics 1.5 hour blocks with other members of your household. In addition, we will require that you wear face coverings and maintain social distance while planting.

Don’t forget your work gloves, a hat, and bring your water bottle…it’s going to be hot!
