Once again, there’s seven colleges, men and women, with teams among the top 25.
About the same schools are up there — UCLA, Indiana, Arizona, Texas, Gonzaga, UConn, Maryland.
UCLA has the No. 4 men and No. 19 women; Indiana No. 15 men and No. 2 women; Arizona No. 8 men and No. 21 women; Texas No. 9 men and No. 12 women; Gonzaga No. 10 men and No. 15 women; UConn No. 14 men and No. 9 women, and Maryland No. 21 men and No. 5 women.
That puts the Bruins at 47-12, Indiana at 46-6, Arizona at 45-13, Texas at 44-14, Gonzaga at 52-8, UConn at 47-12, and Maryland at 44-14, which gives the edge to the Hoosiers.
But in totals, the edge goes to Texas at 21, and coincidently both the Longhorns men and women are both 22-7.
So no one has any clear edge here, but it’s nice to see seven schools up there again.
