2025-2026 License Year Now Underway

The 2025-2026 license year has officially begun. All 2024-2025 hunting and fishing licenses are invalid as of April 1, 2025. Over-the-counter fishing and hunting licenses are now available for purchase through your Game and Fish online account, at Department offices and at vendors across New Mexico.

Monday, April 7 is the deadline for submitting 2024-2025 harvest reportsfor Barbary sheep, ibex, javelina, oryx and trapper license holders to be eligible for big-game draw licenses. Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all draw applications. An $8 late fee will apply.
