IAF Strikes Hezbollah Training and Missile Site

A day after eliminating a high-ranking Hezbollah official, the IDF has continued the strategic strike campaign in Lebanon to take out targets of the terror group that has shown signs of rebuilding. The Jerusalem Post reports the IAF has struck a training camp as well as a missile manufacturing site.

“The storage of weapons, the presence of terror infrastructure sites, and conduct of military training against the State of Israel by Hezbollah terrorists constitute a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and pose a threat to the State of Israel,” the IDF stated.

“The terrorist advanced the transfer of weapons in Lebanon and advanced terror attacks against the State of Israel,” the military stated of Karbala. “The activities of the terrorist constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”

The training camp was in the Bekaa area of Lebanon north of Golan Heights, while the missile site was in the Sharbine area in the southern part of the country. The Lebanese government has said there have been attempts to disarm the terror group, but to little or no avail.
