An Energizing Week at NRB in Nashville

Last week, members of our team had the privilege of attending the NRB 2026 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville. As Founder and President of Christians Engaged, a ministry of Family Policy Alliance Foundation, I was honored to represent our movement alongside bold Christian communicators from across the country.

I had the opportunity to participate in the opening session with NRB President Troy Miller and share about the mission of Christians Engaged, as well as invite attendees to join us for
America Reads the Bible, taking place April 18-25 in Washington, D.C. Believers from across the nation will gather to read Scripture aloud over America. Tickets are available now, and we would love for you to be part of this powerful week.

Throughout the convention, I joined numerous interviews with Christian media outlets to discuss biblical citizenship, mobilizing the Christian vote and why believers must be engaged in this pivotal moment for our nation.

Take a look at some of the media coverage from the week, including:

  • feature article in The Christian Post, which shared:
“Bunni Pounds, founder of Christians Engaged, presented an encouraging report on the mobilization of the Christian vote. She reported that her organization has grown from 32,000 to more than a million Christians committed to praying, voting and getting involved in the public sphere. For 2026, Pounds announced the launch of ‘Christians Engaged en Español,’ an initiative in collaboration with the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez and the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), specifically designed to reach the Hispanic community in the U.S.”
  • My interview on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, where we discussed the importance of Christian civic engagement and the vision behind Christians Engaged.

During NRB, we were also encouraged to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary while hearing from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who spoke about pro-family priorities including protecting life, lowering housing costs and strengthening our nation so families can thrive. It was a reminder that faithful engagement and leadership truly matter.

NRB was energizing and faith-filled, and our entire team left Nashville more committed than ever to calling Christians to pray, vote and engage regularly.

Thank you for standing with Christians Engaged and with Family Policy Alliance and Foundation as we work together to impact our nation for Christ.

With gratitude,
Bunni Pounds
