On behalf of all of us at New Mexico State University Golf Course, thank you for being part of our golf course family. We truly appreciate your continued support and the role you play in making this facility a special place for so many.
NMSU Golf Course is a place where people come to relax, compete, learn, and connect. With that in mind, we kindly ask everyone to treat one another and our staff with patience, respect, and understanding. Every guest deserves to enjoy their time here, and our team works hard every day to make that possible.
Our entire staff, including the Pro Shop, Driving Range, and Outside Services, Starters and Marshals, Maintenance, and Restaurant teams, shares a common goal: to provide outstanding customer service, meaningful programming, and consistent championship‑level playing conditions. It is truly a team effort, and one we take great pride in.
As one of the busiest facilities in the region, hosting more than 65,000 rounds annually, we are proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together. We are honored to have been recognized as:

Caring for One Another
We truly consider our customers to be family. With that comes an expectation that we look out for one another and treat each other the way we would want to be treated ourselves. While we understand that frustrations can arise, threatening comments or behavior toward guests or staff cannot be tolerated. Our priority is maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for everyone, and appropriate action will be taken when necessary.
Caring for the Course
We also ask for your help in caring for the golf course itself. Our Maintenance team works tirelessly and with great pride to maintain over 120 acres of turf and landscape. Their commitment to consistent, quality playing conditions is something we can all be proud of—but it’s not an easy task.
When each of us does the small things, it makes a big difference. We kindly ask that all golfers:
- Repair ball marks on the greens
- Fill or sand divots
- Rake bunkers after use
- Keep golf carts on paths around greens and tee boxes
- Keep carts out of desert and native areas
- Dispose of trash properly—and if you see trash on the course, please consider picking it up
These simple actions help preserve the course for everyone and ensure championship‑level conditions for years to come.
At NMSU Golf Course, our aim is always to exceed expectations while providing a safe, fun, and welcoming atmosphere that supports balance of life, recreation, learning, and competition.
