The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) Blue Bus is rolling out a series of service enhancements starting Monday, April 13, 2026. These updates will impact 13 routes and two MyBlue™ on-demand rideshare zones across north central New Mexico.
These changes are part of NCRTD’s ongoing effort to improve service based on rider feedback, operational data, and input from the community. Like many transit systems, the Blue Bus evaluates and updates its service twice a year—typically in the spring and fall—to keep routes efficient, reliable, and responsive to rider needs.
The upcoming improvements are focused on:
• Increasing efficiency and strengthening route connections
• Reducing travel times and simplifying routes
• Improving schedule reliability and consistency
• Enhancing rider safety and stop accessibility
• Expanding connections to regional transit options
